So far the Crosshair III formula and IV formula on two differnt computers with all differnt hardware have the same issue, a 3rd party raid card also fixes the issue where nothing else will. Beleive me i have tried the basics (latest bios, other graphics cards, ive virtually swapped out every component to isolate this problem.) It seems when playing certain games off of a raid array configured throught the motherboard (by certain games i mean a lot from all varieties, Crysis, Portal, Swat 4, Unreal tournamant ect) the games hiccup, they freeze for a second or two every so often (about every 2 minutes, sometimes when a new texture is loaded) I find it to be a huge issue with your very high end gaming boards and i am very confident you will find the same results if you test it. If ASUS either acknowledges this or starts using a differnt raid card in their motherboards please notify me as I will no longer be purchasing asus boards when i plan on using raid untill the issue is addressed.
