Hello. Sorry for the confusion. The insurance company wants a repair estimate. If the laptop is unable to be repaired they will then issue me a check and I can purchase a new computer from you. On the phone I was told the laptop can not be repaired. I need an email saying that it cannot be repaired in or out of warranty. Thank you -Andy

I know it is not covered by hp. I was told on the phone that it cannot be repaired. I just need an email saying that the screen damage can not be repaired so my insurance company will cover it and I can then buy a new laptop from hp.
