I can't promise I have the perfect equipment for the job. I would have to use my cameras microphone to record the audio. I guess I just want to make sure of everyones expectations. I know how to do it and I have very nice gear, it's just not perfectly suited for this job. If you would like me to give it my best I can likely handle it without hiccup. I'm just a perfectionist and I only get one try with this. I'll take the job if this sounds adequate. Let me know what you think. - Andy

For our drama last year, he came once and did one long clip with some closeups.

Did you want one or both rehearsals filmed? Also how long is the event and starting at what time. Finally would you like it edited and playable on a DVD player or just in file format on a computer?  It sounds like the last guy made a DVD and then sold them. I could do that if that's preferrable. Also did he shoot the whole stage and just take one long clip?  I could come to both rehearsals and combine two types of filming possibly. Thanks for the info -Andy

The Drama Club will pay you $75 for filming that night.  Then you can pass out forms for cast and crew to order the DVD from you.  Last year Dana charged $10 a dvd, and then $3 shipping for a total of $13.  You could also give the DVDs to me and they could come to my office to pick up.

    Our last guy filmed for us three different semesters.  Twice he came to two rehearsals, edited it, and put it on DVD.
     
    For our drama last year, he came once and did one long clip with some closeups.
     
    It is up to you -- we want it on dvd format.  Rehearsals are at 7:15 pm.
