A Cheaper Solution
I needed one red and one green bell pepper for a homemade pizza. The cost for one red pepper was $2.29. For one green pepper it was $.99. I decided to look in the frozen vegetable section. I bought a 16 oz. store brand bag of frozen red and green peppers with onions for $.99. I only used half of the bag, so there's enough for another use. And I didn't have to cut into a fresh onion either.
